In order to quickly process your background requests, it is helpful if you submit the most accurate and complete information about your applicant.
When submitting an order via our online management system, iDsource, or an order form, please make sure to do the following:
Include the applicant’s middle name or middle initial
Entering as much information as possible will help to identify the correct person.
Enter all surnames and maiden names
Not only is it best practices to run complete checks on all known aliases, but this information allows us to get correct employment and education verifications more quickly.
Submit the applicant’s full address
In some cases the Social Security trace will not find an address for the applicant. If we have their current address, we can complete the background check with that address.
Enter your request early in the day
Your requests will be processed faster by our researchers if we have them early in the day.
Send us a signed release
The majority of the time a signed release is needed from your applicant in order to process the background request. By sending your applicant's release with every background request we can avoid delays.
